Oregon Ghost Conference - Since 2015, Nicole has been a major OGC supporter, having taught an introduction to paranormal investigation course and having presented at the event four times.

Port Gamble Ghost Conference - Nicole was also a featured speaker at the Port Gamble Ghost Conference in 2017, located in the picturesque town of Port Gamble, Washington.  She presented about the history of and paranormal happenings at the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. 

Amy Bruni's Strange Escapes aboard the Queen Mary - 
Nicole was tickled pink to be a featured speaker at Ami Bruni's RMS Queen Mary Strange Escapes event in 2017.  Nicole presented about the history and paranormal happenings aboard the legendary ship in addition to selling close to 50 books during the weekend.

Preston Castle ParaCon: Nicole was invited by the Castle Spirits Team to be a featured speaker at the Preston Castle ParaCon in 2017 and 2018.  It was fabulous and a dream come true to finally see the iconic structure for the first time.  A truly majestic experience!

Maritime Ghost Conference San DiegoNicole presented about the Queen Mary at this 2011 event held at the Maritime Museum of San Diego. 

Haunted America Conference West Coast:  Troy Taylor, noted paranormal researcher and author, asked Nicole to present at his 2011 Haunted America Conference West Coast in San Diego, California.

San Diego Ghost and Paranormal Meetup Group - 2011
In May of 2011, Nicole gave a presentation about the history and high strangeness of the Queen Mary at the San Diego Ghost and Paranormal Meetup group, which is run by her friends, Dave and Cheryl Hansen.  The SDGAP is San Diego's most popular meetup group for discussions about the paranormal, including ghosts and hauntings.  Check the group out at 

USS Hornet History and Mystery Event - 2019
Nicole was a VIP guest at this event. She hosted a presentation about the Queen Mary and joined the overnight paranormal investigation of the Hornet. 



Various Library Presentations:  Nicole has been invited to speak at various San Diego libraries, including Lakeside, Rancho Santa Fe, Julian, Escondido, Vista, Santee and San Marcos.  She has featured books at the San Diego Local Author Showcase at the San Diego Central Library. 

San Diego OSHER Adult LearningNicole has given two presentations about paranormal research and investigation to OSHER students in San Diego, California. 

La Costa Glen Retirement Community, Carlsbad, California 
Nicole was invited to present about the history and hauntings of the RMS Queen Mary for the senior community at La Costa Glen Retirement community.

Escondido Public Library "Haunted Escondido" Event 
SDPRS' Nicole Strickland and Ali Schreiber presented "Haunted Escondido," a seasonal event put on by the Escondido Public Library. Ali and Nicole focused on the history and hauntings of several North County, San Diego locations, including the Elfin Forest, San Pasqual Battlefield, AVO Playhouse, Rancho Buena Vista Adobe, Rancho Guajome and Escondido Public Library.  The SDPRS team was invited by the Escondido Public Library to conduct two in-depth paranormal research projects in various areas of the building.  With fascinating results to reveal, Ali and Nicole discussed their findings from the investigation during the "Haunted Escondido" sold-out event. 

Aztec Brewery - Vista, California - Ongoing
Nicole is on the paranormal lecture circuit for the Aztec Brewery in Vista, California.  She has presented about various paranormal research topics here.

Santee Historical Society: Nicole was invited to give a presentation based off of her book, San Diego's Most Haunted to guests at the Santee Barn, one of Santee's most iconic historical sites, in February.  She discussed the history of and ghostly activity at many legendary locations throughout San Diego.  

Casa de las Campanas Retirement Community: Nicole was invited to speak about paranormal research practices in October 2019 at the Casa de las Campanas.  The presentation was well-received and the topic of conversation among residents during dinner later that evening.

Bean Crazy Coffee ShopNicole presented about the Queen Mary at the Bean Crazy coffee Shop in Thousand Oaks, California.

Intrepid Shakespeare CompanyNicole and the SDPRS team gave a presentation about ghost research and investigation to company actors and attendees.

National University, Oceanside, California (Cal State San Marcos' OSHER Adult Learning Program) - 2013
Nicole presented about the RMS Queen Mary and other historically haunted locations at National University for the Cal State San Marcos' OSHER Adult Learning Program.
